At Chloris, Jarrod leads the engineering team that he built from the ground up. He also designed and led the development of the internal packages and microservices which are the backbone of the petabyte-scale geospatial data processing that produce Chloris’ unique insights.

Jarrod studied Computer Science and Environmental Science at Boston University and has subsequently built his career around combining these fields. Jarrod’s diverse engineering background ranges from developing full-stack web applications, to big data processing, to DevOps and deploying cloud-native architectures.  Prior to joining Chloris, Jarrod was a Team Lead at Verisk’s Atmospheric and Environmental Research.
