Alessandro is pioneer in developing methodologies to measure and monitor vegetation and biomass from space, and it is his scientific breakthroughs that are the foundation of Chloris’ work.
Most recently a Research Professor at the Center for Remote Sensing, Boston University, he also was a Senior Scientist at the Woodwell Research Center for over a decade, and a member of the NASA Carbon Monitoring System Science Team.
