Software Engineer

David is a backend engineer at Chloris, focusing on the optimization and development of the processing of Chloris’ satellite imagery data, and overall code quality. Davis has a masters degree from Johns Hopkins University in Geospatial Data Science, where his thesis focused on processing Sentinel satellite data to predict and prevent avalanches in mountainous regions. Since graduating, he has worked on the core backend code for several GIS data pipelines, including an aerial feature extraction pipeline in support of road-ready autonomous vehicles.
