Cristina is an environmental engineer focusing on the application and commercialization of ecological data for sustainability purposes. She has a passion for bridging research and market forces and her past work experiences span from technology communication to commercial strategy, client engagement and sales at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, the University of Cambridge, and most recently at Sylvera. Through her master’s degree at UCL in Ecology and Data Science she also gained experience in field work and remote sensing, in which her research thesis included a carbon stock assessment of Lake Alaotra in Madagascar which will hopefully be the basis of further conservation efforts.
